Ferrum, VA– The Peace College
soccer team fell to USA South opponent Ferrum College
today 0-3. The Panthers out shot the Pacers 17-4 in
the contest. The Panthers (6-10, 3-3 USA South), who
moved to .500 on the season in USA South play, was paced
by Cara Kolina who scored two goals on three shots.
Peace could only muster
two shots on goal as Marlowe Ivey and Brittany Lynn
were able to make a run at the net, but came up empty.
Goal keeper Emily Stewart recorded five saves on the
day, but gave up three scores to Ferrum on eight shots.
Peace dropped to 3-10 overall (0-6 USA South) and will
look to rebound versus Greensboro College on Saturday
in the last scheduled regular season match up prior
to the USA South Conference tournament. Kickoff is scheduled
for 3:30 PM in Greensboro.
