Soccer Ends Regular Season with 1-5 Loss at Greensboro

Greensboro, NC– The Peace College soccer team ended it's regular season today with a 1-5 loss at Greensboro College.

Greensboro out shot the Pacers 20-2. Peace was able to convert 1 goal, by Harlonda Smith half way through the second period. This was the first time the young Peace soccer program has scored a goal against Greensboro College. Sophomore goal keeper Emily Stewart ended the game with 6 saves.

Peace ended the regular season at 3-11-0 overall, 0-7-0 in the USA South. Peace will travel to Fayetteville, NC on Tuesday to take on #1 seeded Methodistin the Quater-finals of the USA South Conference Tournament. Game time is set for 11:30 am.
