Raleigh, NC – The Peace College soccer team picked up its second win of the season today defeating Salem College 3-0. Hailey Bright and Claire Hackney were responsible for the Pacer goals while the team defense only allowed Salem to get off one shot.

Hailey Bright’s two-goal performance in the first period gave the Pacers the lead going into the half, while out shooting Salem 11-0. Claire Hackney scored her first goal of the season in the first nine minutes in the second period and Peace once again out shot Salem 13-1.

Peace jumps to 2-2 overall and will begin USA South Conference play on Saturday at Christopher Newport University. Game time is set for 1:00 pm.
