Murfreesboro, NC- The Peace College soccer team fell to Chowan University 10-0 on Saturday afternoon. Chowan, who is a scholarship member of NCAA Division II athletics, did not give the Pacers much room for mistakes and took advantage of thirty-six shots on goal.

Pacer goal keeper Emily Stewart was able to come up with 14 saves on the afternoon, while Harlonda Smith got off a pair of shots on goal to pace the offense. Chowan (2-2 overall) got a fine offensive performance from Ashley Bradford who was able to place nine shots on goal and complete the hat trick with three goals on the afternoon.

Peace (0-1 overall) will be back in action on Thursday September 7th when they travel to Sweat Briar, VA to battle with Sweat Briar College. Game time is set for 5:00 PM.
