Cary, NC – The Peace Soccer team dropped a 5-1 decision on Saturday to Emory & Henry College although they continue to show improvement on the season. The Pacers surrendered four first half goals, but were able to limit the Wasps to a single score in the second half.

Goalie Emily Stewart got off to a rocky start, but came on strong in the second half recording eleven saves. Stewart ended up with fourteen total saves, but it was just not enough. Marlowe Ivey was able to get Peace on the scoreboard in the second half when she snuck a penalty kick past Meredith Ledford, but the rest of the Pacers were not able to get any additional goals through the Wasp defense.

Peace moves to 2-5 overall (0-2 USA South) and will travel to Rocky Mount, NC to take on Shenandoah University in USA South action next Saturday.
