Raleigh, NC – The Peace College volleyball team dropped three games to Greensboro College on Wednesday evening in USA South Conference action. Greensboro, who is currently first in the conference standings, found a little more offense than Peace to win in straight games (30-24, 30-16, 30-20).

The Pacers were led by Shamica Phillips, Nicole Corn, and Annie Lyons. Phillips recorded eight kills on the evening, while Corn and Lyons chipped in six a piece respectively. Setters Erin Pike and Bridget Corbitt combined for twenty-three set assists in the three games to pace the Peace offensive attack. On the defensive side it was Jordan Morris who registered fifteen digs, while Lyons and Corn added another eight digs a piece.

Peace moved to 6-6 (0-4 USA South), while Greensboro increased their lead in the USA South with a record of 14-1 (4-0 USA South). Peace will be back in action on September 24th when they travel to Ferrum, VA for a USA South quad match.
