Danville,
VA – The Peace College volleyball team traveled
to Averett University and left their offense at home.
The Pacers could not get much going on offense as they
fell in three games (13-30, 16-30, 19-30) to the host
school.
The Pacers were led on defense by Stephanie Pinnell
and Renee Sexton. Pinnell came up with nine digs, while
Sexton moved around for seven. Jordan Morris recorded
eight kills for Peace, but it was just not enough to
get by the Cougars.
Peace moves to 7-8 overall (1-6 USA South) and will
host Mary Baldwin College and Meredith College on Saturday
on the campus of Peace.
