Raleigh,
NC --Lyndee Sargent joins the Peace College Department
of Athletics as the new Head Athletic Trainer. Originally
from New York, Sargent earned a Bachelor of Science
in Athletic Training from Liberty University in Lynchburg,
VA. She holds professional memberships in the National
Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA) and the
National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).
After graduating in May 2005, Sargent joined The Hoop
Group, a premiere basketball skills center offering
camps and services to top players.
Most recently she served under United Health Services
in Endicott, NY as patient therapy clinician and high
school athletic trainer. Sargent volunteered at the
2007 New York State Stop DWI Baseball Tournament. She
also volunteered for the Binghamton Junior Senators
junior B hockey team as a student trainer.
Sargent and her husband moved to the Triangle this summer
after a year-long period in Charlotte, NC. The Pacers
welcome Sargent to campus and look forward to a new
era in Peace College Athletic Training.
