Greensboro, NC--Peace College runners junior Ashley Simms and first-year Amanda Etheridge continue to place well for the Pacers in the individual results. Saturday the Pacer duo competed in the Old North State Invitational hosted by Guilford College at Hagen Stone Park in Greensboro.

Simms finished 8th among DIII competitors and 9th among all non-DI runners in the 6k event (00:29:19.9). She was 4th among her fellow USA South competition. Teammate Etheridge continues to gain strides and finished with 00:38:11.3 in the race.

The Pacers host USA South competitor NC Wesleyan Friday, October 5 at the SAS Soccer Complex in Cary, NC. Stop in and cheer on your Pacers. Race begins at 4:00pm.
