Greensboro, NC--Peace traveled to Greensboro College today for the final regular season match of the season. Heavy rainfall late in the week led to a postponed match from Saturday's original schedule. The tough Greensboro squad defeated the Pacers (8-0) and finished 3rd in conference rankings. The Pride hosts #6 NC Wesleyan in Round 1 of the USA South Conference Tournament. Check out this USA South Tournament link for complete bracket.

Unfortunately, the Pacers failed to advance to the conference tournament. Peace and Mary Baldwin College finished the regular season tied for 8th. The single match-up between the 2 schools ended in a tie, and both teams defeated Averett for their single win on the year. Due to conference protocol a coin toss determined the 8th seed. Mary Baldwin won the toss and advances to tournament play.

In today's loss to Greensboro, sophomore mid-fielder Randal McLean recorded the single shot for the Pacers. First-year Sherry Revels earned 15 saves in the loss.

This young Pacer squad returns next year with the promise of a solid recruiting class and a chance to make Pacer history earning a spot in the conference tournament. See you on the sidelines!
