Peace fought back and earned 5 runs of their own to finish the game in 5. First-year shortstop Jessica Hogan (Denton, NC/Southwestern Randolph) loaded the bases with her single moving catcher Kristyn Trogdon (Asheboro, NC/Southwestern Randolph) and third baseman Courtney Long (Nakina, NC/South Columbus) to second and third. Blevins singled and scored Trogdon and Long. Left fielder Kasie Moore (Clayton, NC/Clayton) homered to add 3 RBIs and end game 2.
