Raleigh, NC--Peace lost today's match versus a strong Meredith College squad (9-0). First-year Lauren Marion (Greensboro, NC/SE Guilford) scored two games in her #1 singles match to lead off the Pacers. Senior Lucy Mauney (Southern Shores, NC/Manteo) put up a fight in her second set scoring 3 games.

The young Pacers continue to get acquainted with each other and the tough intercollegiate environment. The team takes the next week off from competition and returns to Ragland Tennis Courts after the College's spring break.

Peace travels Wednesday, March 12 to Guilford College, Greensboro, NC before hosting Chowan College Friday, March 14 at 3:30pm. See you on the sidelines!
