Danville, VA --The Pacers picked up another win today versus first USA South opponent Averett University (8-1). First-year Katie Lamb (Kitty Hawk, NC/Manteo) defeated Niina Marttila in her first win of the season at the number two position (6-4, 6-2). Senior Ella Dickens (Sanford, NC/Western Harnett) and number one doubles partner Lauren Marion (Greensoro, NC/Southeast Guilford) also picked up their first win of the year defeating Cougars Kerrie Fallen and Kayla Craddock.

Dickens and Carol Ann Duke (Salisbury, NC/Salisbury) added their second singles wins today defeating Craddock and Hannimari Savola at the number three and number five spots, respectively. Senior Lucy Mauney leads the Pacers picking up her third win today over Eliisa Alatalo 6-1, 6-2 in the number four position.
