Raleigh, NC--The Peace tennis team edged past the Ferrum Panthers at home Thursday 5-4. The Pacers improve to 3-3 overall (2-0 USA South). The Panthers move to 3-2 overall (1-1 USA South).

Lauren Marion (Greensboro, NC/Southeast Guilford), Lucy Mauney (Southern Shores, NC/Manteo), and Carol Ann Duke (Salisbury, NC/Salisbury) picked up wins in singles positions one, three, and four, respectively.

Marion and partner Ella Dickens (Sanford, NC/Western Harnett) defeated Ferrum's Tabitha Brown and Katie Porter at the number one doubles spot (8-2). Mauney and Duke finished up the win at the number two doubles position defeating Morgan Moran and Brittany Rogers (8-6).

The Pacers host the Bishops of NC Wesleyan next Wednesday, March 26 at the Ragland Courts in a 3:30pm USA South match. See you on the sidelines!
