Raleigh, NC--Peace defeated the Bishops of NC Wesleyan today at the Ragland Tennis Courts 6-3. The Pacers swept the doubles matches including the fourth victory this season for Lucy Mauney (Southern Shores, NC/Manteo) and Carol Ann Duke (Salisbury, NC/Salisbury) (8-0).

Mauney added her team-high fifth singles win of the season at the number four spot sweeping Juliana Richardson of the Bishops. Duke also won at the fifth singles position defeating Evanne Collins (6-1, 6-0)

The Pacers travel to Newport News, VA for a league match versus Christopher Newport University Saturday. The team returns to Ragland Courts for a four-match home stretch beginning Tuesday, April 1 versus Methodist University. See you on the sidelines!
