Newport News, VA--The Pacers traveled to Christopher Newport for their first of two USA South quad-matches of the season. Peace opened with the Captains of CNU losing 0-3 (15-30, 14-30, 16-30). The Pacers lost to Ferrum College in their 2nd and final match-up 0-3 (24-30, 16-30, 23-30).

In the loss to the Panthers of FC senior setter Erin Pike led the team with 14 assists, 2 kills, and 10 digs. At middle senior Shamica Phillips added a team-high 5 kills, 1 ace and 1 block. Libero Stephani Sports recorded 17 digs for the Pacer squad.

The Pacers host Greensboro College in Raleigh on Wednesday, September 19 at 7:00pm.
