Winston-Salem, NC--Peace College traveled to Winston-Salem tonight to wrap up a 4-match season with the Lady Bears of Salem College. The Pacers add a win to the record finishing 3-2 (24-30, 20-30, 30-27, 30-19, 15-11). Losing the first 2 games of the night, the team pulled together to finish strong.

First-year Breanne Hinnant led the front-line attack with 10 kills in the win. Hinnant also gave the Pacers solid defense adding 5 digs and 4 blocks. Her counter-part first-year Kerra Gore had a good night with 8 kills and 6 blocks.

The Pacers get back into conference action Thursday travelling to Danville, VA for a 7:00pm match with Averett University. The team is back at home Saturday hosting a conference tri-match with Shenandoah University and NC Wesleyan. Play begins at Noon for the Pacers.

The Peace College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee will collect canned foods at the final 3 home matches including Saturday's tri-match. Thank you for your contributions. Collected items will be donated to a local charity next month.
