Raleigh, NC--The Quakers of Guilford College upset the Pacers tonight in 4. Peace took the first game 30-11 but lost the momentum in game 2. The Quakers capitalized on the misfires from Peace to tie the match. Peace never recovered.

Outside hitters sophmore Megan Melchiorre and junior Nicole Corn led the team in kills with 8 each and digs with 23 and 20, respectively. Corn had 2 aces in the match. Senior setter Bridget Corbitt led with 15 assists in the loss and senior setter Erin Pike added 13. Corbitt also put down 2 service aces.

Senior libero Stephanie Sports recorded 12 digs for the defense. Senior rightside Kenni Seagroves put down 3 kills in the loss and added 2 assists and 1 dig for her team.

The Pacer coaching staff, teammates, and fans celebrated the 4 seniors tonight; Bridget Corbitt, Erin Pike, Kenni Seagroves, and Stephanie Sports. We wish you well as you continue your journey beyond the gates of Peace College. Congratulations!

Peace completes the regular season Saturday in Staunton, VA in a USA South Conference Tri-Match with host Mary Baldwin College and Methodist University. The outcome of Saturday's conference matches across the region will determine tournament seeding for next week. Good luck Pacers!
