Staunton, VA--Peace traveled to Mary Baldwin College for the final regular season matches of the season. The Pacers lost to host Mary Baldwin 3-0 (30-17, 30-24, 30-17). First-year Bre Hinnant led the Pacers on defense with 12 digs, followed by sophomore Megan Melchiorre with 11. Melchiorre also led her team with 5 kills in the loss. First-year Kerra Gore also had 5 kills and 10 blocks for the Pacers. Senior setter Erin Pike led with 8 assists.

Next, the Pacers lost to the Monarchs of Methodist University for the 2nd time this season (3-0; 30-25, 30-21, 30-25). Melchiorre continued to lead the Pacers with a team-high 7 kills against the Monarchs and a solid effort defensively with 15 digs. First-year Kelli Woodard added 6 kills and 4 digs in the loss. Junior leader Nicole Corn scooped up a team-high 17 digs in the loss. Corn also added 3 kills.

Today completed the regular season contests across the USA South Conference. Next week's tournament bracket is now in place. Peace finished 9th in the conference. Hometown rival Meredith College placed 8th in the conference rankings. Ironically, the pair face-off Tuesday evening at #1 seeded Christopher Newport University. Match begins at 5:00pm.
