SAAC Holds Online Auction

Raleigh, NC -- The Peace College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) will host an online auction this week as part of its efforts to raise money for the USA South’s 2010 Pennies for a Purpose campaign.  This league initiative drives conference SAACs to raise money for local organizations.  The Pacers won the 2008 Pennies championship during the inaugural year of the service initiative raising more than $1000.

This year’s Peace SAAC set a goal of $1500 and will donate all funds collected to the Duke Children’s Hospital.  Student-athletes volunteered in February for the 2010 Mix 101.5 Radiothon for Duke Children’s Hospital to kick off the change drive.
