The Peace College Hall of Fame was established in 2001 primarily to recognize and preserve the memory of superior athletic careers of former student-athletes. The hall recognizes those individuals who made exceptional contributions to Peace College in the field of athletics by virtue of their performance on athletic teams or by meritorious efforts in years after leaving the college. Championship and other exceptional teams are eligible for Hall of Fame consideration.

2011

  • Fay Jackson Anderson
    A former basketball player and current Trustee, Mrs. Anderson has been an acitve and engaged alumna for many years. She's received the Distinguised Alumna Award and along with her husband has given generously to support the athletics program and its faciilites.

  • Carolyn Ruth Hopkins
    Peace College's Director of Athletics from 1982 to 1989, Hopkins also served the school as its head of the Physical Education department and as the Tennis coach. Her teams compiled a 120-55 record and won six Region X championships in six tries. Hopkins' last team went 18-1 and was ranked fourth in the country. She passed away at age 34 after a battle with cancer.

  • 1976-77 Basketball Team
    The 1976-77 basketball team finished the season with a 20-8 record and a number two national ranking, the highest for any college team in school history. The team finished runner-up in the 1977 Association for Intercollegiate Athletics for Women (AIAW) National Junior College Tournament and was selected as the inaugural inductee into the Peace College Athletic Hall of Fame on April 28, 2002.
