Student-Athletes Assist with Peace College Move-In
Raleigh, N.C. - Today marked the beginning of the 2010-2011 academic year for Peace College as first-year students and new transfers moved-in this morning and began Pathways, the packed orientation program. Fall student-athletes, who moved in earlier this week to begin practice, were on hand to assist with the traditional volunteer effort.
The entire Peace College community has been lending a hand for years to new students and families on move-in day. Director of Admissions and Peace alumna Audrey Ward vividly remembers the descent of volunteers during her first day on campus.
Cross country, soccer, and volleyball athletes and coaches joined the effort in shifts during the move-in. Recent alumnae athletes returned to help as well.
