USA South Announces 2010-2011 Academic All-Conference Team
The USA South Athletic Conference has released its 2010-2011 Academic All-Conference Team. A student-athlete must have earned a 3.0 GPA in each of the two semesters of a given year to be eligible. Any student-athlete participating in any varsity sport at any Conference institution is eligible. This season, 768 athletes earned Academic All-Conference honors, including 19 from Peace College.

Pacers wild nightcap win earns split
The Peace Pacers scored two runs in the bottom of the seventh inning on wild pitches to edge Shenandoah, 2-1, and claim a split of their doubleheader with the Hornets after they dropped the first game, 11-0, in five innings.

Softball Pacers Earn Academic Honor
Raleigh, N.C. - Four Peace College softball players received academic acclaim this month from the National Fastpitch Coaches Association. Allison Gilmore, Lindsey Haver, Kasie Moore, and Lindsey Moore earned at least a 3.5 grade point average during the 2009-2010 academic year to receive this honor.

Pacers Offer Live Stats to Fans
Raleigh, N.C. - Pacer athletics fans can view live stats for home volleyball, basketball, and softball contests beginning Thursday, September 16, with the volleyball home opener. Peace hosts the Spirits of Salem College in the Hermann Student Center at 7:00 pm.

Starkville, Miss. – The National Fastpitch Coaches Association recently released its 2010-11 All-Academic Teams and All-America Scholar Athletes. Peace College was well represented, as six student-athletes made the grade.
