Murfreesboro, NC - Peace College shot the ball well, but NCAA
division II member Chowan University shot the ball better. The
visiting Pacers could not find an answer for stopping a very
powerful offensive explosion by the Chowan Hawks Saturday
afternoon. The Pacers fell behind early and were forced to come out
of their initial game plan by shooting lower percentage three point
shots to try to keep up with the very accurate Hawks. Chowan
finished the game shooting fifty percent from the field, while
Peace shot thirty five percent as a team, with that stat being
grossly skewed due to the large amount of three pointers attempted.
The result was a 90-51 loss for the Pacers, putting them at 4-4
overall on the season.
