Peace Soccer Rolls Past Salem 5-1

Raleigh, NC - The Peace College soccer team picked up its third win of the season today defeating Salem College 5-1. Hailey Bright, Randal McLean and Harlonda Smith were responsible for the Pacer goals while the team defense only allowed Salem to get nine shots on goal.

Hailey Bright and Randal McLean's two-goal performance in the first period gave the Pacers the lead going into the half, while out shooting Salem 17-6. In the second period, Randal McLean, Haily Brigh and Harlonda Smith each scored a goal and Peace once again out shot Salem 17-9.

Peace jumps to 3-7 overall and will regain USA South Conference play next Thursday at Ferrum College. Game time is set for 4:00 pm.
