Pacers Fall to Owls

Asheville, NC-The Peace College soccer team (0-6) lost today's non-league match versus the Owls of Warren Wilson College (3-4) under soggy conditions. 

Warren Wilson outshot the Pacers 8-3 in the first half.  The Owls used the offensive pressure to steal a goal by Megan Gold at 26:00, assisted by Serena Shah. 

Peace had a little more success in the front field in period two but could not stop the hosts from reaching the back of the net once more.  Goal two was scored by Becca Towne, unassisted.

Sherry Revels recorded seven saves on the match for Peace. 

Peace hosts Piedmont College next Sunday as the first in a series of three home matches.  First kick is slated for 2:00 pm at WakeMed Soccer Park (field 4).  See you on the sidelines!
