Soccer Earns League Sportsmanship Honor
Fayetteville, N.C. - The USA South Athletic Conference office announced Monday the fall season sportsmanship honors. Peace College earned the award for women's soccer, the third such honor for the Pacer soccer program and the eighth sportsmanship award received by a Peace College team.

Soccer Completes Season
Raleigh, N.C. - The Peace Pacers (1-17, 1-8 USAS) soccer team completed the 2010 season with tonight's 9-0 loss to USA South regular season runner-up Meredith College (13-4, 7-2 USAS). The Pacers, who finished ninth in conference standings will not advance to the tournament this fall.

Raleigh, N.C. - The Averett University Cougars (8-3, 4-2 USAS) dominated over the young Peace Pacers (1-12, 1-3 USAS) in today's 10-2 USA South loss at Koka Booth Stadium. Eight of the Cougars scored to help AU seal the win over Peace.

Winchester, Va. - Peace College (1-10, 1-1 USAS) lost 12-0 to a solid Shenandoah University (5-4-3, 2-1-1 USAS) squad in today's USA South road game. The Hornets' defense stifled the Pacers who made just one attempt at the net in 90 minutes of play.

Staunton, Va. - The Peace Pacers (1-9, 1-0 USAS) soccer team picked up a much needed 6-4 win over the Fighting Squirrels of Mary Baldwin College (2-5, 0-2 USAS) to open the tough USA South schedule.

Pacers Come Close
Raleigh, N.C. - The Peace Pacers (0-9) battled back from a three-point deficit in today's non-league match with the Warren Wilson Owls (3-5) on two goals from Melissa Moran. With just 25 minutes remaining in regulation, Moran netted her first of two goals to give Peace a chance down the stretch. PC took the eventual 3-2 loss.

Raleigh, N.C. - The Peace College (0-8) soccer team lost today's non-conference match 7-0 to the visiting Koalas of Columbia College. First-year keeper Daisy Vasilko tallied a career-high 12 saves for her team in her third match in-goal this fall.

Raleigh, N.C. - Peace College soccer lost 9-0 to the Quakers of Guilford College Sunday in the Meredith College Classic. The Pacers lost their third consicutive game in early 2010 action. Guilford moved to 1-1 overall.

Raleigh, N.C. - The Pacer soccer team took an 11-0 loss from the Salem College Spirits in today's first round of the Meredith College Classic. Meredith defeated Guilford 4-0 in the 1:00 pm match. Peace and Meredith swap opponents tomorrow with the Pacers opposite the Quakers at 3:15.

New Head Coach Keith Jenkins and his young PC squad, including just four returners this fall, showed solid moments on the Koka Booth Stadium field but took the 7-0 loss.
