Liza Bridgers Named to USA South Women's Tennis All-Conference Team

Fayetteville, NC - The USA South Athletic Conference has announced its All-Conference awards for women's tennis. A total of 19 student-athletes have been named to the USA South All-Conference teams for women's tennis.

Senior Liza Bridgers (Wilson, NC/Greenfield School) was named to the second team after a stellar year at the #1 singles flight for the Pacers. Bridgers finished the season at 7-11 overall, 2-5 in the USA South Conference. At the #1 Doubles flight, Bridgers and partner Anna Jane Hesmer (Wilson, NC/Fike) were 8-10 overall, 3-4 in conference play.

The Pacers will be the 5th place seed in the upcoming USA South Conference tournament being played in Burlington, NC beginning this Friday. Peace is seeded against #4 Greensboro College and the match will start at 1:00 pm.
