Pacers Advance to Semis

Burlington, NC-The Peace College tennis squad defeated Christopher Newport 6-3 in today's quarterfinal round of the USA South conference tournament.  This marks the second win over the Captains this season.  The Pacers advance to Saturday's semifinals versus league leader Methodist University.

Peace took an early 2-1 lead with two doubles wins at numbers one and three.  All-Conference players Alexandra Kerin and Alejandra Cobian picked up their twelfth win on the season in the top spot.  Jill Trogdon and Katherine Lamb took their opponents at number three.

Four Pacers, Kerin, Cobian, Kristen Starnes, and Lauren Allen, earned singles wins to seal the team victory over the Captains.
