Angels Sweep Tennis

Raleigh, NC -- The #10 regionally ranked Meredith Avenging Angels (9-3, 7-1 USAS) defeated Peace College (1-9, 1-7 USAS) 9-0 in today's USA South action. 

At No. 1 Kristen Starnes and Haley Bright took two games from Ashley Pearsall and Kathryn Maples.

Elizabeth Burns, Bright, and Brittany Lynn each won a game in their singles play before taking the loss.  Burns and Lynn finished their doubles match 8-1.

Carol Ann Duke and partner Casey Hardin finished with an 8-1 loss at No. 3 doubles to round up the Pacer wins.

Peace travels to Greensboro College Saturday, April 10, for the final match of the season.  The USA South event is slated to begin at 3:00 pm at Bur-Mil Park.  See you on the sidelines!
