Pacers Earn League Sportsmanship Award
Fayetteville, NC -- The Peace Pacers tennis team earned the USA South's women's tennis spring sportsmanship award as announced Monday from the conference office. Ferrum shared this accolade with Peace.
Head Coach Kathy Jacobs focused this season on team sportsmanship as much as skill development. The novice squad included just one returner from the 2009 team and added five members with little to no competitive experience in the sport.
The team completed the 2010 season with an overall record of 8-1 and improved significantly during the year.
