Peace Volleyball Takes a Hit from DII Elizabeth City
Elizabeth City, NC—The Peace College (10-15) volleyball squad took a quick 3-0 loss to the NCAA Division II’s Elizabeth City State University (18-12) in tonight’s final non-league match of the season. The Vikings dominated the offensive effort in set one hitting .423 to the Pacers negative percentage, and took a 1-0 lead on a score of 25-8.

The Pacers (10-14, 5-7 USAS) opened the day with a 3-0 sweep of Shenandoah University (12-14, 2-12 USAS) before taking a 3-1 loss to North Carolina Wesleyan (16-9, 11-2 USAS) in the nightcap.

Raleigh, NC—The Peace College volleyball team enjoyed a big day in today’s USA South tri-match at the Hermann Student Center. The Pacers defeated the Mary Baldwin Fighting Squirrels 3-2 in the opening match and closed with a 3-2 win over the Monarchs in the nightcap.

Raleigh, NC—The Pacer volleyball squad lost a close 3-1 battle to the Vikings of Elizabeth City State University in tonight’s non-league match at the Hermann Student Center. Peace dropped to 5-9 overall and the Division II Vikings improved to 12-8.

Raleigh, NC—The Peace College volleyball team defeated Greensboro College 3-2 for their first-ever win against The Pride in seventeen tries. This marked Peace’s first conference win of the season and the team improved to 5-8 overall. Greensboro dropped to 3-12 overall (2-4 USAS).

Lynchburg, VA—The Pacers dropped three matches in today’s non-league action at the Lynchburg College quad match. Peace dropped to 4-5 overall. Lynchburg finished 6-1 after closing the day 2-1. St. Mary’s (MD) took the Pacers in four followed by a 3-0 sweep from USA South neighbor NC Wesleyan.
