Peace Cross Country Selected To Finish Fourth In USA South Preseason Poll

FAYETTEVILLE, NC - The USA South released is preseason cross country poll on Wednesday. The Peace College cross country team, in their fourth year of conference affiliation, was picked fourth with 26 total points. Peace finished the 2005-06 season with fourth place finish in the USA South.

Christopher Newport University was chosen first in the poll with seven first place votes and 49 points. The Captains are the eight time defending USA South Champions and have won ten of the eleven USA South Championships.

Peace will begin the 2006-07 season on Saturday, September 2nd, as they will run in the Campbell Cross Country Invitational in Buies Creek, NC.
