Peace Places Second in Home 5K

Cary, NC--The Pacers hosted Meredith College and North Carolina Wesleyan College today at the WakeMed Soccer Park. Peace placed second behind Meredith with 58 points. Meredith took the top five spots scoring only 17 points in the win. The Bishops finished third behind Peace with 60 points.

Senior Ashley Simms (Raleigh, NC) led the Pacers finishing sixth 24:19:00. Junior Kate Douglass (Raleigh, NC) scored second for Peace with 26:05:00.

Peace travels to Greensboro, North Carolina, next Saturday for the Greensboro College Invitational. The race begins at 1:00 pm at Hagen Stone Park. See you on the sidelines!
