Four Place in Opening XC Meet

Raleigh, N.C. - Peace College cross country opened the fall 2010 season in today's 4K dual meet at Meredith College. Under oppressive heat and humidity for this time of year, the Pacers held four spots in the final results.

Returner Guadalupe Rostro notched a fourth-place finish with a time of 18:12, just 54 seconds behind first.

First-year Allana Jones, completed the race in eighth at 20:45. Sophomore newcomers Charity Young and Taylor Clark rounded out the PC team at twelve and thirteen. Teammate Allison Gilmore did not finish.

Peace travels to UNC-Wilmington Friday, September 10, for the Seahawk Invitational. Join the Pacers back in Raleigh at the end of the month. See you on the sidelines!
